Jungle Boys
Jungle Boys is one of the most influential cannabis collectives in the world, born in Los Angeles in 2006 when two breeders — Ivan Vanorwick and Juice — joined forces after both had their separate grow operations raided in Southern California. Ivan hails from the San Gabriel Valley; Juice from LA proper. Their partnership produced a shared philosophy: quality over quantity, every time. In 2013, Ivan purchased the Toluca Lake Collective (TLC Collective), which became the first official Jungle Boys dispensary. The brand expanded through California following adult-use legalization in 2018, and entered Florida's medical market in 2022, where demand was so high that their strains sold out on opening day. They now operate multiple dispensaries across California and Florida. What sets Jungle Boys apart is their fully in-house operation — every pheno selection, tissue culture test, and breeding project happens within their own facilities. Their genetics are renowned for exceptional terpene expression, with notable contributions including White Fire OG phenotypes, Mimosa, and dozens of sought-after hybrids that have been circulated widely across the US breeding community. Their seeds are made available to growers and other breeders, and their products are carried by third-party retailers throughout California.
